Some teachers sitting at home are registering their attendance by tampering with the Shiksha Kosh app. Such teachers have been identified and instructions have been given to take immediate action.
Asked to ensure access to all teachers
According to the information, Shailendra Kumar, MIS in-charge of Bihar Education Project Council has asked all the District Education Officers to take action against teachers who mark their attendance from home by tampering with mobile settings, spreading false propaganda and changing longitude and latitude. He has said that online attendance of teachers is being recorded through the app on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal since June 25. During this time, there are problems in recording attendance. This mainly includes camera, location etc. To solve this, a video has been prepared by the developers of the e-Shiksha Kosh app. He has asked to make it available through email and ensure access to all teachers.
The operation of the app is being maligned by making videos
At the same time, some teachers are deliberately disabling the camera, location and other functions by tampering with the settings of the mobile and are maligning the operation of the app by making videos. It is also being learnt that some teachers are registering their attendance from home by changing the longitude and latitude. He has asked to identify such teachers and take action against them.
